On this day in history, March 7, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell patented the telephone. Back then, it was called the electronic speech machine.
The telephone was nice while it lasted. But now it is nothing more than a passing fad. Most people don’t even have a telephone. Everyone has a smart phone.
