Sometimes I wonder what the people at Charter Communications are thinking. A few nights ago, I was having trouble with my cable service. Immediately, I called Charter and scheduled a service call for the next day. They asked if I wanted the technician to come between 8:00AM and 10:00AM, 11:00AM and 1:00PM or 3:00PM and 5:00PM. Immediately, I said between 3:00PM and 5:00PM. I also said that I would not be home from 7:00AM to 2:00PM.
Well, they called the next morning at 7. Naturally, I was not home to take the call. They left a message saying that they were on their way, but had to cancel the service call because no one was at home. Well done, Charter. Fortnately, the cable was working fine the next morning. As it turned out, I did not need them after all.
