It is very important that you wash your hands, and disinfect them during this World Health Crisis
Dear Merjeo,
When I was 12, my brother and I were riding in the car with my dad. One of us did something to piss him off, and it wasn't me.
I was older, and had to take the rap for him most of the time. Half way home, he told me to get out of the car and walk home. Well, I decided to get cute, and was feeling adventurous, so I stuck out my thumb, just to see what would happen.
About 6 hours later, I was in New Orleans. I ran into an adult who used a little common sense, and knew I was lost, so he insisted that I let him call my parents. When my mother answered the phone, she was crying with joy.
This damn near caused my parents to get a divorce, but, they did make it to their golden wedding anniversary. How they did beats the shit out of me. But you can bet, from that point on, she wore the pants in the family.
Dear Merjeo,
Since this Corona Virus stuff has been going on, I've been asking myself the following question, "Am I free?"What does freedom really mean?
To me, freedom has to do with privacy. If no one knows what I do, and I'm not required to report things I do, then I would consider myself totally free. With the government, that's not possible. I accept this.
But when it goes beyond the government, that's a problem. When I got a Windows 10 computer, one of the first things I did was delete Cortana. She's too nosy. She's Microsoft's little snitch. When the government wants to know about me, that's fine, because that's the way it is. But when an organization like Microsoft also wants to know everything about me, that's out of line.
Dear Merjeo,
In my entire life, I've only been stuck in an elevator once. I didn't panic, because very little, if anything, freaks me out. There were about 9 people in the elevator.
I was with a friend. A few minutes after it happened, I winked at my friend so he'd know I was about to play a practical joke. Then, I pretended I was having a panic attack. I went absolutely berserk, but it was all an act. It started a major panic in the elevator. The building maintenance man was one of the passengers, an unfortunately, he didn't have a strong stomach.
Suddenly, he couldn't breathe. He passed out. As it turned out, the elevator had only gone about 2 feet before it stopped. We were rescued in about 3 minutes. Unfortunately, the maintenance man had to be taken to the hospital. However, it was just a precaution and he was all right. But I learned something from this experience.
I will never play a practical joke again.
Dear Merjeo,
At first, I didn't like this idea of Social Distancing very much.
But as I get into it more and more, I love it. I do the things I've always wanted to do. And I couldn't do them because I didn't have the time. I was always going to my drab 9 to 5 job.
I have more time to play around on the internet. What I've found out is, that's all people are doing these days. Hell, they have nothing else to do. There's money out there, and I've been going after it. I've made more since the lockdown than I made all of last year on my former job.
But what I love most about Social Distancing is this:
Nobody FUCKS with me, and I don't FUCK with nobody!
