First of all, I don't think it would be done with a Delorean. I think it would be more like the original movie, The Time Machine, starring Rod Taylor.
If it were possible to travel in time, and we were able to go to the past or the future, it's my opinion that we'd be there only as an observer. No one would see or hear us, and we couldn't engage with anyone.
Time travel is possible, but I don't think the past could be changed.
I'm very interested in time travel, and have done extensive research on the subject. If I live long enough, I'm going to find a way to do it.
